Tom, thank you for sharing this. Pedestrian safety is a priority of mine no matter where in the city we are at ❤️ plus I love my neighbors over at Fort Point.

I’m over it, public transportation is NOT a privilege, it’s a necessity for thousands of people across our city. It’s how people get to work, school, medical appointments, and grocery stores. We’ve become far too cardependent, and the cost of that dependence falls hardest on working-class residents.

I was proud to sign on to that letter. We need to be doing more for our most vulnerable.
Thank you Councilor @enriquepepen.bsky.social for signing this letter! I am a D5 constituent who has been EXTREMELY disappointed in our governor's response to the trauma inflicted on our neighbors and community members by ICE.

Just days ago, I attended the funeral of 5-year-old Lens Arthur Joseph. These are reminders that too often, we are mourning lives lost to preventable traffic violence.
