No Minecraft Villager Husband update today except I thought it was funny that the mod has bleeding damage and visuals so I killed a ton of pillagers who showed up and stumbled into the house bleeding all over the floor then got in our bed. There were guys out there but I got em honey

I wrote about the husband saga over on my tumblr because I'm having too much fun with this world
as of right now, husband is alive, and I quit for the night because a stymphalian bird from the ice and fire mod shot me to death in a filthy swamp
I neeeeed to elaborate more on this villager. I am playing modded minecraft, with a pack that I don't know what's all in (Roguelike Adventures and Dungeons 2). The villager spawns in a library when you ring a bell for service, and becomes a librarian that gives you various books detailing the magic mods. He is very much not a normal villager as far as his interface goes. He has a bed in the library in a little area. He decided, one night, he was going to come sleep in *my* bed. In my house. Next door to the library. He somehow got outside and lost. He lives in my house for a few nights. He then goes back to the library. He gets stuck in the library trying to use his old bed. A horde of zombies appear, which apparently is a Feature of this mod (hooray). Guess what. The library has pressure plate activated doors. My husband is now a zombie. I put him in a boat, as would any loving spouse. Then I begin my journey. I already have the golden apple. I need the potion. I travel far and wide in search of a village with a brewing stand. I am imagining myself as beleaguered and upset, going door to door asking anyone in neighboring towns for help. My husband is a zombie, he needs help. No brewing stand. It's cold and dark and wet. It is literally raining on me. The next day dawns and I see it: on a lake in the middle of an autumn-themed biome full of pumpkins, a single modded witch hut. Mushrooms grow on the building, and I have to hop over a few different blocks in order to reach the ladder to get up there. Inside I hear her, then I see her through the window... an elite witch. An. Elite. Did you know the mod did this? Well, I did because the zombie that killed my husband was an elite. The fight actually ends with me locking her in her attic, as her hut is two-storied, and I make off with the brewing stand. I leave her cat. I get home, I set my brewing stand down, and I get to brewing... or I would. But. Guess what. Did you see me, at any point in this story, gather blaze powder? Was there any mention of the Nether? I saw that little blaze icon and fell to my knees in my house. There would be ANOTHER leg of this journey? I can't even get to the Nether normally in this mod! I have to find a tear in a cave, go through it, and then find an anchor *in* the Nether to get back out. I am not equipped for this. I sit in my house in despair. Then I realize. It was in front of me the whole time. The library. The modded library! It spawns witches on the second or third floor, in an area cheekily called the Restricted Zone. I run next door, past my poor ailing husband, who watches me pathetically from the boat still sitting in the lobby. I go up the stairs two at a time, and pester a witch from her reading. She follows me downstairs, and I put my husband between me and her when she starts throwing potions. I almost pass out from the poison, but a splash weakness potion hits him too. Without wasting a moment I force him to eat the golden apple I have been carrying with me all this time like a talisman of good luck. I dispatch the witch, as she refused to go back to her library section. In a few minutes, my husband will be back. When he comes back, and takes his job again as a librarian, the most interesting thing happens. He has trades now. I set him free from the boat and break part of the library so there's a room with our beds that he won't struggle pathfinding to. I find him outside a few days later, getting attacked by raccoons. I gingerly bring him back into the safety of the fenced yard, and visit the library. I put extra fences on all the balconies. I love my husband. a minecraft villager with the librarian profession standing in a library with stone brick walls and cyan carpet.

so tonight in minecraft a villager decided to share bed with me so I have a husband now, but he ended up zombified so I had to go on a whole journey, progressing the game, to be able to cure him and now my husband sells books to me at a discount

Someone once used "hag" as an insult towards me because I'm in my 30s and it's really funny because.... I dont see aging as an insult? I didn't seriously think I'd make it out of my 20s so getting older is not a negative.

Also it makes me sound like a cool bog witch. Want some potions?
