The National Park Service will cut Martin Luther King Day and Juneteenth, two holidays honoring Black history, from its list of free entrance days next year. Visitors will instead get free entry on President Trump’s birthday, which coincides with Flag Day.

I wonder what the projected increase in mortality rate for Black and brown children is. Betting on far greater than 16% by 2030.
The global mortality rate for children under 5 is projected to increase in 2025 -- for the first time in decades. Moreover, the projected death rate by 2030 is 16% higher than last year.

Really important to stress that the Crown Jewels of the US higher education system were never the Ivies or elite SLACs (other countries have equivalents of these) but the well-funded, large, cheap, and excellently staffed public state university systems bringing high quality education to the masses.
