AI is undeniably useful in completing school-related artifacts more quickly and efficiently, but that utility is sometimes the opposite of learning. This is why I believe we need to focus at the level of experience and only then ask how AI might be used inside that experience.

I'm not necessarily an advocate of banning AI and reject the notion that those who don't see a utility for it are "ignoring" it. In my course, I would attempt to clearly express why AI does not have significant utility to the kind of learning I want students to experience.

T1. When I was starting my career in my hometown years ago, I had a cousin who was already an established OB-GYN and she told her colleagues about me… eventually, my practice grew and having her inform people first made it easier for me to build. Her presence also inspired my standards #healthxph

Just like #HealthXPH. Imagine being able to organize a national Healthcare Social Media Summit without a single face to face meeting! Connections allow you to widen your reach, broaden your horizon and utilize resources that were otherwise out of reach.
