Background checks should be eliminated from all jobs and having felony convictions should no longer be disqualifying.
So let me get this straight.
If you apply for a job at a grocery store, you have to undergo a background check.
But, if you apply to be Director of National Intelligence, you don't?

Background checks should be eliminated from all jobs and having felony convictions should no longer be disqualifying.
They are also saying the quiet part out loud. Three branches of government is not "undermining" 🍊💩. Our Constitution is set up this way to prevent one branch from gaining too much power.

The Constitution never did apply to everyone. Originally, it applied only to white, land owning men.
My grandmothers were born before women had the right to vote. My mother was told if she was a boy she could be an engineer, but since she was a girl she needed to be a teacher or a nurse.

When I was a child, I learned that the Constitution didn’t apply to people like us. I said the Pledge of Allegiance from inside a barbed wire camp, the words “with liberty and justice for all” wholly meaningless.
But I did not give up on America. I’ve spent my life fighting for its ideals.

When we were children, we were taught that no matter how you reached, no matter much wealth and power you accumulated, you were not above the law.
We can no longer teach our children that.

It was scary to speak to the school board. It was small. But it was a start.
Speaking up when you see something unjust is scary. You can start small if you want. But please start.

To be fair, the usual suspects want to fire the teachers too.
The usual suspects are out there yelling "There are 23 million government workers! Fire most of them!" No awareness that most work for local governments, and most of *them* are schoolteachers. Federal employment hasn't grown since the 1950s

If we could indoctrinate children, they would bring pencils (and maybe bring me coffee).
As a teacher we just want kids to come to school, behave, possibly do their work, and then we want to go home. Thats the only thing we “promote”
Trump has characterized the Department of Education as promoting "wokeness" and leftist ideologies in schools.
