I’m working on a triptych collection of vignettes that explores themes of dissociative body horror, existence after death, transformation, finding the divine in refuse, trauma processing and class struggle all in less than 30 pages, which will be released June 28th of this year.
A gutter flooded with iridecent water. The sky and clouds can be seen reflected. Verdant moss grows beneath the surface. Floating on top are fallen vibrantly pink crape myrtle flowers. The image is distorted and the colors are blown out. Scan lines cut across the digitally torn image. The words DEUS EX CLOACA are crudely superimposed on top.
