I’ve been doing some solo games of Advance Wars By Web to get my groove back and have been wondering why Grit (the artillery CO) is almost always banned alongside the COs with no downsides that break the game and here he is turning the guy who gets half price units deployed anywhere into hamburger

There are so many terrible ways to die in Wars World but this is up there with “lived in the building getting jumped on” and “submarine imploded because your CO, the self-professed master naval combat and a child who can’t even find clothes that fit, forgot how much fuel it takes to stay submerged”

Everyone needs to see this contraption used to generate dice rolls for a PBEM client. Basically it’s a self-refilling LEGO dice tower connected to an ancient webcame and P2-266Mhz that sends pictures of the rolls to the API. A true pervert contraption (complimentary) gamesbyemail.com/DiceGenerator

Embarrassingly for having once been a beloved PS2 ~aesthetics~ account [citation needed] on the old site, I have nothing prepared for the 25th anniversary of the PS2’s US launch. Obviously, it had an outsized influence over who I am as a person and remains in active use when I still play games

One of the tattoos I have on the list is the Guided By Voices rune but what stops me is a) worry that any sort of rune might be seen as a Nazi thing and b) maybe I should wait until Bob Pollard dies just in case a 67 year old alcoholic former gym teacher from Ohio has some Opinions left in the tank

I’ve painted roughly 70 miniatures in the 9 months I’ve been in the hobby but today was a first: this enby vampire barbarian broke off their base as I was finishing so I went ahead and made a 90’s style base out of sand, gravel, mod podge, and some goblin green paint
