Literally by definition "viability" limits ARE gestational limits, as in they limit your ability to get an abortion if you are past a certain gestational duration.
3. This map is wrong on multiple levels. Abortion is banned again in North Dakota as of last week; that state is the wrong color. Only 9 states lack a gestational limit and should be dark blue under this key. 41 states have bans

Beloved Wisconsinites: I am so sorry.

If you cannot get to Milwaukee for care, shield law providers can help you. If you need in-clinic care, Minnesota and Illinois have got you. I know this makes things so much worse, but I promise, we WILL help you exercise your options.
EXCLUSIVE: Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin will halt abortions in October in response to the GOP budget "defunding" provision

It's the first known PP affiliate to drop abortion services in the wake of the law:
Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin to Halt Abortion Services
Sources say the affiliate isn't scheduling abortion appointments after September 30 in an apparent attempt to avoid Medicaid "defunding."

"In short, attacks on shield law provision lay bare the anti-abortion movement’s goal of weaponizing the criminal legal system—often by investigating, arresting, or prosecuting patients and providers—to eliminate abortion access nationwide."
I worked with my colleagues @anna-berns.bsky.social & @emmas-e.bsky.social to highlight the recent attacks on shield laws & why defending them is essential to repro freedom.

Everyone deserves access to abortion care in their communities via their preferred method, whether that is an in clinic procedure, via telemedicine, or abortion pills sourced form a community network. Any restrictions that limit people's choices are unjust. Full stop.

Mass deportations is a reproductive justice issue.

Bodily autonomy is impossible if you are afraid to leave your house, afraid to pick your kids up from school, afraid to see your doctor.
Escalating displays of force, under the guise of immigration enforcement in the US, are increasing barriers to essential health services—including reproductive & maternal health care. For over 12 million immigrant women of repro age in the US, access to care could be jeopardized.

“It’s not just the cost of travel itself or the cost of the procedure. It’s also the support of trying to figure out how to navigate a patchwork of laws, find a clinic with appt availability, get child care — most abortion patients have children — find accommodation.” @imaddowzimet.bsky.social
The latest findings from our Monthly Abortion Provision Study show that out-of-state travel for abortion remains critical, but can be challenging. As our expert @imaddowzimet.bsky.social told @washingtonpost.com, “It’s not just the cost of travel itself or the cost of the procedure.” gu.tt/4jbVF9d
