I cited actual Kirk quotes where he calls Black women less intelligent, demonizes me for being Muslim, & dehumanizes LGBTQ people—& his supporters are upset at me for “speaking evil of the dead.”

I’ve been a hospice volunteer, and the people I worked with were the most beautiful, giving people you could ever imagine. Empathy isn’t a “made-up, New Age word that does a lot of damage”. Empathy is everything.

The right never thinks they’ll end up on the business end of gun, but instead assumes they’ll be the ones pulling the trigger. The GOP needs to take a long, hard look at where they’ve been pushing this country for decades. No one is safe where access to guns is so easy.
