DC has a large Black population and that’s reason enough for Republicans. Bigotry through policy is their governing philosophy.
I don’t know if people outside of the DC area are aware of this but House Republicans voted to cut the DC city budget by $1 billion. Like, the LOCAL city budget. So like…they want to stop funding DC public schools and other public programs for literally no reason. It’s an insane thing to do.
