Negotiating a budget deal? No.
Preventing premiums from doubling? No.
Stopping 15 million Americans from losing health care? No.

Mr. President. Stop breaking the law.
The shutdown does not give you the right to fire thousands of hard working federal employees.
Instead of giving huge tax breaks to your billionaire friends, show some respect for the struggling working families of our country.

Women receive more than 3x more service requests at work than men. AND colleagues view them more negatively if they say no.
More than forcing victims to say "no", orgs need to compensate equally for actual work and ensure equal service requests.

In a study of professors, women got 378 new work requests over 4 weeks vs 118 for men. Women spent more time on service, advising & teaching; men on research. Orgs should track who is taking extra duties & ensure they are rewarded and distributed fairly. www.forbes.com/sites/kimels...

The most bizarre thing about the COVID School Closure Discourse is how commentators take it for granted that closing schools had no effect on transmission or deaths but that's not at all what the evidence says.
