despite all the fear mongering about trans people and the attempts to abandon and actively harm us from both political parties in the US, transitioning is still the greatest decision i’ve ever made, only regret i have is not doing it younger, and that it has only made my life infinitely better

As a person who was big into forums and chat rooms in the 90s, it’s unreal watching ChatGPT ppl develop forum addiction & epistolary limerence & go through vicious-cycle social reinforcement in EXACTLY the same ways, except with a reskinned Eliza app & they’re not being publicly shamed for it enough

the speed at which these guys have broken everything has given a lot of folks who should know better the impression that they are an unstoppable force and the only option is to negotiate the terms of surrender
