So, Trump is going to torture us with a speech tomorrow evening. I’m calling it now. He’s declaring war against Venezuela. Because the Epstein files are going to be released on Friday. Allegedly…

You know it’s bad when you don’t believe anything that the government says.

Just filed my second habeas and I'm working on the third. Filing is kind of a pain in the butt.

Que estupidez! But that’s ok. He’s never gonna get the one he really wants.

Then again, that is if I still have a job. If things keep going the way they do, there’s not gonna be any immigration work left. But we shall see.

I am so set for next year! Now I just need to clear my calendar so I can watch every match. Yes, I am that obsessed. #WorldCup2026
December 5, 2025 at 7:41 PM
Wait! Am I right in thinking that there are no groups of death next year for the World Cup? Granted I’m not as familiar with many of the teams, but at least the ones I support seem to be OK.

I have long Covid. Don’t call my chronic disease a ‘journey’
A “journey” is something you choose. No one chooses chronic illness.

OMG I am so done with this lopsided system we call Immigration Court. The audacity of sending me a notice right now at 2:30 PM to show up for court tomorrow morning at 9 AM for a detained client. And did I mention I have an individual hearing tomorrow at 8:30 in the morning?
November 24, 2025 at 8:27 PM
OMG. That man is horrible. Twice now I’ve caught him eating nuts or something crunchy during an individual, and the last hearing I had with him, he wasn’t even paying attention.

Do you hear the people sing?
MAMDANI: And I just think that there are barriers, barricades, to helping Americans that we can break down
TRUMP: Uh huh
MAMDANI: And breaking down barriers? Reminds me of a certain Broadway show *smiling widely* where they worked together to break a barricade?
TRUMP: *sitting bolt upright* Phantom

This is very creepy
WHOA. The FBI was/is spying on a Signal chat for a New York immigration court watch group, claiming they were “anarchist violent extremist actors.”

Your reminder that the government is watching and don’t say anything in a big group chat you wouldn’t say on TV.

New BIA decision. Police only attacked you once? Sorry, it's not asylum, even if the police did it under the direction of the government.

Seriously, by next year no one will qualify for asylum.

For the Disability community, losing Alice Wong is like losing Ursula Le Guin or Octavia Butler. She was a powerhouse, a pioneer, and a mentor to many. She taught me so much. And always reminded me what we were fighting towards, as well as against. I miss her clarity, bravery, and joy.
Alice Wong
Alice Wong had an outsized impact on Disability justice. As a community organiser, activist, mentor, and co-conspirator, as writer, editor, and friend, she is irreplaceable.

She was such a smart engaging person. I may not have agreed with her some of the time, but I still respected what she had to say. She will be missed.
