Back in April, the USWNT vs Japan match of the #SheBelievesCup had concluded. Afterward, the Brazilian woman’s squad had started warming up for their match against Canada. We were caught by surprise to see #Marta on the pitch for a few minutes.

There are currently only 22 films streaming on Netflix made before 1980 and not a single one made before 1960, with the oldest film on the platform currently being PSYCHO. I know I’m a broken record but: buy physical media, support your local library, etc etc

I have faced fascism before, in this very country. I was one of 120,000 Japanese Americans summarily rounded up and expelled from our homes at gunpoint, all for the crime of looking like the people who bombed Pearl Harbor.
I spent my childhood behind barbed wire. My parents lost everything. 1/
