Post-op update:
My second drain was removed today, so now both are out which feels very freeing. I'm still tiring easily, so taking it easy. There is a small complication, but my doctor will check back in on me next week.
I hope to get back to some serious writing at some point next week!

Some of you may know that I had a mastectomy yesterday, as I carry a pathogenic variant of BRCA2.
I am pleased to share that everything has gone incredibly well. I did get to sleep a little, and now I'm up and moving around on my own. I'm tired and sore, but I'm going home today. 🩷🩵💪🏼
