Good day to remember that a US President has no inherent power over tariffs whatsoever. It’s not like war powers or pardons. It’s entirely delegated by Congress to deal with emergencies. GOP Congress cld modify that law tonight and bring this to a screeching halt.

The teacher that made English class so miserable for me that if I hadn't graduated early I probably wouldn't have been an English major is trying to friend me on FB. As an activist I'm like "A potential new ally!" and then the childhood trauma parts of me try to smother that part with blankets.

Unreal. The US government is dumping Asian and African families and children in random countries that they have no connection to. Dumping, not "deporting." Deportation implies the return of a person to their home country. This is treating people like toxic waste.
