Amen to that.
I think it would make a big difference in our health if we banned Pharma ads from America like the rest of the world does.

It is perfectly legal to know your rights and to educate others about them, too.

EVERYONE in the United States, citizen or not, has rights. I will not allow this administration to intimidate us from helping you know about them.

This is where you go to tell the National Park Service to restore the word "transgender" in its entry on the Stonewall monument.

(Scroll down.)
Stonewall National Monument (U.S. National Park Service)
Before the 1960s, almost everything about living openly as a lesbian, gay, bisexual (LGB) person was illegal. The Stonewall Uprising on June 28, 1969 is a milestone in the quest for LGB civil rights a...

The corollary to "don't obey in advance" is "don't obey more than you have to" - do the minimum legally required, and make them fight you for everything else
Here's the thing about the Tuskegee Airmen history - there was nothing in the EO about it. Someone in the Air Force interpreted it that way -- which is far worse.

Clearly there are some shock and awe tactics being used. We need to acknowledge them and move on. The intent of these tactics is to distract, intimidate and undermine dissenting voices. These things are annoying, but are they really shocking? I’m not shocked. Disappointed, yes. Shocked, no.

The White House website, translated into Spanish—gone. And they’ve replaced the Home button with the words “Go Home.”

Recently took a peek at Twitter and the disinformation is getting substantially more dangerous. Someone could get killed.

The tactics of constantly repeating outright lies, targeting specific people, repurposing years-old footage and presenting them as new is getting to another level. It’s scary.

Also this excellent observation (because sometimes people think it's all up to the federal government).
The path to avoiding the worst of climate change runs through state senates and city councils, public utilities commissions and planning bodies, co-op boards and HOAs and PTAs and neighborhood associations. Remember the physics definition of power: it’s work over time.

So his stance is that it’s the fault of Black children that racism exists? (Also, I do not believe that he has ever met a real life Black child.)
Trump HHS nominee RFK Jr.:

If you give Black children “resilience” then “the inevitable racism” will “bounce off” them like they are “the Avengers” because “they will be immune to it” and “then we don’t have to stop racism altogether, because we’re never going to be able to do that.”

I mean it’s safe from propaganda programmed bots, harmful rage bait, reckless unchecked racist rhetoric and unsolicited temu ads

I would like to speak up today for the trans community.

You see, I know a bit of what it’s like to be politically scapegoated. When Japan attacked Pearl Harbor in 1941, suddenly anyone in America who had any amount of Japanese ancestry became suspect. Politicians preyed upon ignorance and fear. /1
