With SNAP benefits it's not as though everyone reading this is doing fine, but I'm unemployed and Ive been rejected for unemployment benefits because of a tax loophole my ex-employer used, Im struggling too. I need your help, not financially atm ty but I need others to hold some of this burden.

People want to look away. I understand. I don't want to be the structural and emotional support for families surviving a genocide because I happen to have a large account. But the thing is, the more others withdraw, the more emotional and financial strain goes on existing relationships.

i actually cannot get over how many people have come up to me in the last two days to tell me the specific ways my keynote was meaningful and impactful to them, and i definitely could not do this all the time, but it really does make all of the work worth it
