For the record, Joe Hockey is a defence lobbyist who stands to make millions from defence contracts with the US and other allies. To just describe him in interviews as a former US ambassador and not his CURRENT vested interest role is not just irresponsible, it's lying.

There are reports Labor may adopt the Greens 'GP for free' plan tomorrow!

I hope they do: it will make a huge difference for people struggling to afford healthcare.

Pressure works.

This is what voting Greens delivers: we keep Dutton out and get Labor to act.

Congratulations on reaching the point where crimes against humanity are now inside the Overton window.

Well done journalism. You really did your job well. So fearless. Sleep well. (I mean, you have been asleep for decades now so that won't be an issue).
Oh joy, watching the ABC's flagship current affairs show where Sarah Ferguson ask s"Is there any proportion of the Palestinian people in Gaza who would welcome the chance to be relocated?"

How about no, because there is no such thing an ok proportion of ethnic cleansing? #730

Incredible. How long before Labor to gut DEI to neutralise that as a Dutton attack? Paving the way for him one step at a time.

As we collectively hold our breath, it is crucial to remember that we have a duty to hold Israel and all those complicit in its war crimes accountable.

The work continues. Justice must prevail.

I hope that the ceasefire brings reprieve to Palestinians who have been living under the torment of Israel’s genocidal regime. There must be an end to the genocide, occupation and apartheid.

Lifeline Bookfest opens Saturday. My plan: arrive when they open, printed a copy of my StoryGraph to-read list (those books I don’t own yet). N95 mask ready to deploy. As yet undecided on what carry bag to take. Haven’t been in a few years so keen for tips!

Merry Christmas from the government everyone.

Approving 4 coal mine expansions merely minutes after the environment minister tweeted labor approved 0 new coal mines this year is wild.

The planet doesn’t care about semantics and fancy accounting tricks. New coal is new coal.

What people want is renewable energy. Enough distractions, let's just get on with building it!
