Em dashes rule. The real problem is (not all, but many) AI overuse em-dashes in bad ways. It's*just* good enough to be a bad writer.
when someone tells me not to use em dashes because AI uses em dashes

It fills me with rage that we could've spent the last 5yrs overhauling indoor ventilation and just...didn't. Like, it's good for capitalism! Even if that's allll you care about, healthy people are more productive workers! And people don't have to take as much time off work if their kids are healthy!

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent acknowledged that the "billions" in tariffs the president says are flowing "into" the U.S. are footed by importers, who can pass the cost to consumers.

I think one of the skeleton keys to understanding Elon, Big Yud, Sam Altcoin, etc., is that they appear to genuinely believe that "intelligence" is more important than eg the laws of physics, because if you're smart enough you'll discover new laws of physics that allow you to break the current ones.
Yes, this:

"There's this idea that the future inevitably lies in space, that the future inevitably involves super-intelligent machines. There is nothing inevitable about those visions and a great deal of reason to doubt them."
No, we are not going to live on other planets. Bullshit artists like Musk might as well be the leaders of death cults. arstechnica.com/culture/2025...

From a source: “Just had a co-presenter for a buildings research conference bow out. She’s a dual citizen and the FBI came knocking to ask her about her involvement in coauthoring chunks of the Paris Agreement.

Climate science is being literally (and I mean literally) criminalized.”

This person opened up a tanning salon with colored UV lamps, calls it an "experience under alien suns," makes $$. 🙄 If it was a true alien sun experience, it would take forever to get enough UV radiation from an M star, though a violent flare might zap you first. 🔭 www.space.com/stellar-tann...

"With a star tan, you'll be able to experience life on alien planets vicariously."
