Australians are rightly shocked and disgusted by Sussan Ley accusing the Labor govt of not showing enough grief at the Bondi attack. The sick politicisation of terrorism by the Liberals - ignoring calls for unity - has been so ugly. Days before Christmas. Shame on all of them!

Albo just got booed at the memorial for the victims of the Bondi Beach shooting.

I immediately felt sick.

I’m also angry that this tragedy has been so politicised.

Albo is not to blame. The Labor government is not to blame.

Hateful extremists ARE to blame.

We need unity. Not more hate.

Brilliant as ever from Amy Remeikis. The past week for politics and media in this country has been quite disgraceful and turned tragedy into the grubbiest tool of convenience, dividing us even further. Opportunistic and sickening.

Have a quiet think. Let it be a guiding lesson for you

Whatever regretful comments you may have made in your life, whatever actions you wish you could take back, let your benchmark for the lowest of the low be using the deaths of 15 people for the relaunch of your political career

Frydenberg’s statements blaming Bondi terrorist attack on Albo are outrageous. Extremism and radicalisation exists in every society. Frydenberg and everyone else - inc. News Corp - who are using a devastating terrorist attack to score political points against Labor should be ashamed of themselves

Every “journalist” who is helping the hard right anti-immigrant Liberal Party use a terror attack to spread fear and hatred and to undermine the Labor government should hang their heads in shame. We know News Corp exists to run these campaigns, but what’s the ABC’s excuse?

The way Frydenberg tells it, @albomp.bsky.social personally drove the assassins to Bondi Beach in a Commonwealth car... #FFS!

I really do hope the #LNP parachutes him into a "safe" #Liberal seat, because THAT will mean one less LNP politician and one more Teal...

When will govt force RBA to take care of wage earners instead of rent seekers? From @crikey.com.au today…more totally avoidable pain and standard of living loss because RBA is worried only about inflation. The target should be lifted to 2-4% and economy and wages should get real growth. #auspol

Anybody seeing the objection I have here?

Why does Australia have to have permission for a sovereign decision?
