It seems a Pinned post is the way to give some sense of who I am to the uninformed masses...
I am faculty at San Diego State University, where I teach furniture design and woodworking, digital fabrication, and embedded computing to art and design students. I also ferry kids to soccer and ride MTBs.
“An escalator malfunction that required President Trump to walk up one flight of steps at the United Nations on Tuesday morning had false claims swirling on social media that it was a deliberate act of sabotage by U.N. staff.”

This is what we are up against. Hopefully this attitude will change when the streets of socal are overrun with e-bikes.
Seriously, one of the complaints against bike lane protection was from some guy worried he may crash on a berm if he was texting and driving? What does he think he might hit instead if he were to drift into the bike lane?
Vista reverses course on protected bike lanes months after installation
The city of Vista has removed parts of its newly installed bike lane safety improvements after they sparked controversy in the community.

I sure hope “cyber truck” gains traction as an alternative to Edsel…
You love to see it!
The Cybertruck is a bigger flop than the Ford Edsel, the most infamous failure in the history of the automotive industry.

As if I didn’t have enough of a beef with ai and Sam Altman. This is beyond gross.
OpenAI is using Studio Ghibli-style memes as an ad hoc promotional campaign for its new image generator—despite Ghibli founder Hayao Miyazaki's famous hatred of AI. Sam Altman made his X avatar a 'Ghiblified' portrait.

Disgracing Miyazaki is part of the point: It's more proof to them tech has won.
OpenAI's Studio Ghibli meme factory is an insult to art itself
Sam Altman is promoting his new image generator by appropriating the work of one of the greatest living animators—who is "disgusted" by AI.

@cfaunited.bsky.social what’s the situation with our response to the CSU’s unilateral decision to pay what I am told is 17 million dollars to OpenAI to help our students shortchange themselves…?

Are there any leftist pro-wrestlers? (Probably have to find a luchador). I’d love to see one bust into the dept of education and put McMahon in a figure four leg lock.

So the department of education and social security are the con-jobs… while ai and crypto are the legitimate paths forward. I’ve been so mislead.
