UK 🇬🇧 Ministry of Defence (MOD) image of Russian spy ship Yantar, presumably in or near UK waters.

Note that the ROV (remote operated vehicle, a deep-sea robot) A-frame is deployed (red). It’s doing something on the seabed.

Also two new radomes (yellow)

It bears repeating how Russian shadow fleet tankers increasingly carry military officers in official Russian navy uniforms.

The officers escort, intimidate, obfuscate documents and are generally uncooperative according to the Danish pilots who have an unique insight into these ships.
Danish pilots keep reporting sightings of little green men aboard civilian vessels coming from Russia. Unfortunately the authorities don’t want to discuss these sightings. But a veteran pilot with decades of experience is willing to talk.

The hacker group Everest, which has ties to Russia, has claimed responsibility for the attack. According to Svenska kraftnät, the hackers downloaded 289 gigabytes of data from a server on an external platform that the authority uses to share information with selected players in the power industry.

Mega analysis and investigation, super interesting & useful as always !!!! Thank you !
The AIS-receiver station responsible for the mass spoof event Nov 2 in Baltic Sea show anomalous data patterns during 8 more days but returned to normalcy Nov 9.

From a baseline of ~30 ships/h, for 8 days it reported 56-113 ships/h.

Speculation: Mass spoof might have been a mistake by attacker.

The anomalous data streams are also apparent in the plots from Marinetraffic. Station streams to both MT and Vesselfinder.

Following the interception of BORACAY / PUSHPA, two websites pretending to be the Benin Maritime Administration got removed from the Benin TLD (.bj). This was the websites that the false certificates pointed to.

This looks to me a lot like a government intervention

Happy to see my work pays off.
