Inktober is all done and it's November. I wonder what people do en masse in November (other than shop and brace for winter).
So. For #Caturday... I have a large garden and don't mind the neighbor cats visiting. Jellybean is very friendly. Bean is cautious. This cat lives in an apartment building about half a block away (I've seen the kitty lounging on the balcony there) and will dart off when I approach.

This was my week. Not just politics, but finding out that my shitty HMO has given me bad eyeglass prescriptions for years (I thought I was losing my eyesight) and having to deal with my ISP's customer service for a WEEK. I need a beer or eight.

I thought when I retired,I no longer had to deal with Byzantine and mysterious objects that have counterintuitive and sparse (or no) documentation. But no. Broken images, steps out of order, handwaving, unreadable white on pale gray text & irrelevant shit. #Eero and #Sonic need tech writers, FFS.

This is making the rounds. When I get lovebombed by employees in a store, I leave. I don't like being pressured to buy things, nor do I want to be interrupted. If I want to make friends, I can go to a bar.

Good news for #plant nerds and #garden nuts. Kew, and other reputable institutions have vast libraries of plant specimens that, over the years, are collected in the field, pressed and documented. I've seen them at UC Davis. Very cool.
