Ohio needs to do better. Despicable.
Just an edgy joke by kids, no doubt
EXCLUSIVE: Capitol Police are investigating a swastika found in GOP Rep. Dave Taylor’s office.

“The content of that image does not reflect the values or standards of this office, my staff, or myself, and I condemn it in the strongest terms," Taylor said in a statement.

Another decent man forced out of job he was committed to. The sickness of this regime is a metastasizing cancer.

This enrages me. Now we’re going to round up Iranian Christians in LA? Iranian Jews next? When will people rise up against this insanity?
The country is being run by sadists.
I’m choked up seeing this—it’s shameful.

Iranian refugees got snatched by “immigration agents” dressed like bounty hunters in West LA’s Sawtelle neighborhood.

We’re really about to send them back to a country we just bombed? A regime known for jailing, torturing, and killing its own people?

This clip needs to be shared far and wide. Seniors in wheel chairs being zip tied for protesting cuts to medicaid.
People in wheelchairs are getting arrested right now in the Russell Senate Office Building in DC. They showed up to tell Congress not to cut their Medicaid, because they cant afford health care without it. If you look closely you can see the zip ties on their hands. #WeWontGetOverLosingMedicaid

American Gestapo in action
Masked men with AR-15’s mounting suppressors to pick up cooks at a Mexican restaurant? This has nothing to do with detaining immigrants. It’s to terrorize us.
I think we’ve reached a boiling point when it comes to ICE.

Today in Minneapolis, a militarized task force raided the beloved Lake Street taqueria, Las Cuatro Milpas—and the community was not having it.

Agents from ICE, the DEA, FBI, ATF, IRS and HHS rolled up looking like they were ready for war.

The horror being inflicted on foreign scholars is a crime. People need to wake up. You are next.
Just listened to this interview. SO glad he’s been released.

His detention—in three different facilities over two months—is the stuff of nightmares. Packed conditions, cold, infrequent meals.

UW lab tech Lewelyn Dixon has also been released. 🥳

These are important wins.
Keep pushing back!!

A tiny victory in a sea of evil
A HAPPY UPDATE! Mahmoud Khalil was allowed a "contact" visit—without plexiglass divider—with his wife and newborn son this morning before his immigration hearing, ACLU tells me, so I think we can safely assume that he was finally able to hold his child for the first time.
NEW: Mahmoud Khalil's attorneys urgently ask Judge Farbiarz to order ICE to permit Khalil to hold his newborn son today "for the most elementary human reasons." ICE has so far denied the request, despite his wife and child having made the 1,500-mile trip. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

Can anyone explain why 17 members of El Chapo’s family were permitted to enter the US a few days ago? Journalists? Former/current DEA employees? Immigration officials?

Another enraging arrest and detention of an academic with a valid visa. (Maybe DT wants to trade her for a friend/fellow criminal being held in Russia?). Harvard: where’s a statement re your researcher’s detention?
Federal prosecutors allege Kseniia Petrova violated customs law by failing to declare preserved frog embryos in her luggage, in a case that's raised questions over her detention.

Read everything Masha Gessen has written.
🧵
Masha Gessen, who lived under Russia’s secret police, is sounding the alarm: the U.S. is now echoing those same authoritarian patterns. Raids, surveillance, fear tactics—it’s not theoretical anymore.

We are watching a police state take root in real time.

Absolute insanity re Harvard in a letter from the ‘Secretary of Education’ today. This administration is embarrassing in its incompetence.
Just a remarkably embarrassing government
🚨🚨 Deranged letter from Education Secretary Linda McMahon to Harvard’s president, cutting off federal funding for any new grants.

Worth reading in full. It is NUTS.

Another outrage committed by our regime
A Harvard Med researcher is approaching her 3rd month in a crowded (90 women to a room) Louisiana detention center, supposedly because she didn't declare frog embryos as she was re-entering the US.

She fears for her safety if she's deported to her native Russia.

Unbelievable. The level of incompetence is staggering.
Senior officials in Trump’s admin—Waltz, Hegseth, Rubio, Vance—accidentally added the editor of @theatlantic.com to a signal chat detailing plans to attack Yemeni rebels, a conversation that should never have occurred on that platform. Wild, reckless, incompetence www.theatlantic.com/politics/arc...
