If you are looking for hope after Desert Bus, I'll let you in on a well known secret. It's a bit east of Vancouver and right on the TransCanada. It's super cute!

For all of you who’ve spent a lot of time with us at @desertbus.org this past week, I imagine it’s gonna be particularly hard this year to come off having us around 24/7.

Just wanna say. You got this. I won’t lie and tell you everything is fine, but I will say together we’re gonna persevere.

@legalminimum.bsky.social easiest way to get a hold of me is by email. Not wanting to put it on here, it's firstname.lastname @ gov.bc.ca its also searchable in the BC government public directory. From there I can give you my personal one.

Ugh, Eric and I came home from our trips with a stomach bug. Thomas had flu like symptoms (fever/resp). We all got better! Then we all swapped and Lewis picked up the flu too. So much fun.

.,, so with all the fires here, I'm waiting to find out if I will be deployed. If you are a BC public servant, and can find a way to make it work, register for TEAMS. They need people who can help.
