I see Trump parroting the Fox News take that Republicans lost today because Trump wasn't on the ballot.
What they're not getting, or more likely, just not admitting to Dear Leader, is that he _was_ on the ballot today, and voters spoke out loud and clear against what he's doing to this country.

If the government shuts down, the Republican party will hold all the blame. They control the House and Senate, so if the budget is so bad they can't get their own party to vote for it, no one should accept their attempts to blame the Democrats (and they're already trying very hard on that).
