When it is said that we ought to unite to protect our shores against the 'foreign enemy' I confess to be unable to follow that line of reasoning, as I know of no foreign enemy of this country except the British Government and know that it is not the British Government that is meant.

I would be happy if I never heard the name Graham Linehan again, but I do feel the need to comment, because the nature of a lot of the abuse trans people receive is straight up sexual harassment, but is not recognized as such because the victim is trans.

What Glinner is doing is sexual harassment.

Jack Septiceye, who has made a highly lucrative career out of playing into dated Irish stereotypes, one-ups even his usual, dubious fare by portraying the sort of Hibernophobic caricature that would have even Winston Churchill tugging uncomfortably at his collar. Punch-Up is a violent, alcoholic Irishman who, as his name might suggest, could have walked right out of a 19th-century Punch cartoon.
