kid read Frankenstein for school so we got to see GdT’s Frankenstein and it is SUCH a joy to have the chance to see a movie with my child’s critical perception—they compared the narrative beats, considered the changes in plot and character vs the media, loved the look, and had a wonderful time

just saw a post on reddit where some kid got into nearly all top 20 schools as a multisport varsity HS athlete/model UN/nonprofit founder…and did NOT get into my kid’s target school. wtf do these admissions officers want? in related news, my teen is trying to finish their early apps this weekend 😵💫
