I'm aware that the President likes to go on television and beg me to call him to ask for troops.

I find it strange, as Chicago doesn't want troops.

I also have experience asking him for assistance – just to have the rug pulled up from underneath me when execution meets reality.

This is an obvious point, but cannot overstated. There is an enormous difference between deporting someone - where they get off a plane as a free citizen in their home country AND FUNNELING THEM INTO A BRUTAL PRISON FROM WHICH THEY HAVE NO CHANCE OF EVER EMERGING!!!

“Harming veterans isn’t efficient, it’s un-American. That’s what DOGE is doing. We must stop it now.”

Veterans who rely on the VA & other gov't agencies are already being harmed by DOGE cuts. According to Maj. Gen. Paul Eaton, the real Trump/Musk objective appears to be cruelty over efficiency.

During her confirmation hearing for Attorney General this morning, Pam Bondi refused to say Joe Biden won the 2020 election.

As Senator Mazie Hirono said: it is “disturbing” that the Attorney General nominee cannot acknowledge the results of the 2020 election.
HIRONO: Who won the 2020 presidential election?

BONDI: Joe Biden is the president

HIRONO: You cannot say who won the 2020 electon

BONDI: *sits in silence*

Pam Bondi’s confirmation hearings just wrapped.

Don't forget: the American people need an Attorney General who will stand up for them – not lobby on behalf of big corporations and foreign governments.

The Senate should reject Pam Bondi’s nomination for Attorney General.

Pam Bondi’s loyalty is to Donald Trump, corporate interests, and far-right extremists, not the Constitution and the people of this country.

Bondi lacks the integrity, impartiality, and honesty necessary to serve as the nation’s top law enforcement officer.

The Senate must reject her nomination. ❌
