@thomasthecat.bsky.social - When y'all talk about ship "skeletons," I picture @admiralbuck.bsky.social's brass skeletons (e.g. bsky.app/profile/admi...). Is this equivalent to STO's? Is there a visual depiction of STO's ship skeletons? Or are STOletons more ephemeral?

@davidwcollins.bsky.social says heroic openers like the SW, ST & Indy themes start at a celebratory high-energy level, repeat the phrase, then go down to a "OK, now we buckle down and do the work" tone. I'm butchering & oversimplifying. But, point is: the same pattern exists in the Car Talk theme.

"All those perfectly clean retro lines. Yep, I'm definitely a Constitution-class man." I love @admiralbuck.bsky.social extending the Trek ship look & lineage to what's *just* off-screen of *just* a few years out. And this work progressed to the point to see his work featured in ST:Picard.

@ubisoftofficial.bsky.social Outlaws Wild Card DLC was too short, but still nice to return to the game after a month+ away. There's a droid-heavy section and the soundscape of their warbles is delightfully gutteral & unnerving. Also, nice to see a once-bugged side quest blink out of the journal.

Wow! Just watched S6 E13 of Deep Space Nine, Far Beyond the Stars. It’s a tour de force from all involved. Simply one of finest episodes of storytelling in the entire Trek canon.
