Remember: Reagan and his administration refused to even acknowledge the HIV/AIDS crisis until 1985, *years* after HIV made it to America, and only after a friend of his died from it (making it personal).
His inaction lead to at least 80,000 direct deaths, mostly among the LGBT+ community.

The Monk's Beloved
