- it's been cancelled for a while, I was holding back and waiting for the news breaking before talking about it

Should probably make it official for folks asking: Chasing Shadows won't be happening. As I understand it, while we were waiting for final approvals, some folks on the SEGA team left the company, and it was decided that the book just didn't fit the schedule and workflow of the line.

I remember there being Shadows gatekeeping, embittered true fans from 1991 decrying the 1996 tourists. Not me, though. I decried it for Ideologically purer True Fan reasons. (Annoyed the 81-83 Marvel run was ignored.)

Years ago I read about someone playtesting Sonic Generations suggesting Black Doom propaganda posters based on the ones in HL2. We here in the future know this did not happen but I thought it was a cool idea and took a shot at that idea.
