What happened in Minnesota is a direct consequence of the violent way that Trump talks about his political opponents.

I'm blocking people who sneer at Pence doing this. Yes, I have problems with Pence too, but why sneer at someone for doing & saying the right things, even if they haven't always said & done the right things? Doing this right now takes balls, probably more than you have, anonymous internet jockey
Pence: "To have POTUS in Saudi Arabia questioning America's global war on terror & describing is as nation building & interventionist I thought was a disservice to generations of Americans who wore the uniform..particularly giving that speech in Saudi Arabia where 15 of the 19 hijackers hailed from"

It is so tragic and highly embarrassing that someone so vile, petty, and bereft of decency is the president. I will never understand or have peace with it.

Could you imagine the response if a democratic president said they didn’t know if they had to uphold the Constitution?

How fast would the articles of impeachment be drawn ?

20 minutes at the most

Crockett: Instead of the President cosplaying as the next pope, he may want to cosplay as an actual President of these United States.
That means he may have to do a little bit of research and understand that he swore a an oath to defend and protect the constitution.

This isn't hypothetical.

The coming days are bringing higher prices and disrupted supply chains, this time not because of a pandemic or a war, but self-inflicted by our country's government under this president.

There’s no fucking way he knows what the Declaration of Independence is. No fucking way.👇
MORAN: What does it (the Declaration of Independence) mean to you?

TRUMP: It means exactly what it says; it's a declaration of unity, love and respect and it means a lot. It's something very special to our country.

We have a lawless president who's spent 100 days tearing up our Constitution and tearing apart our government.

Nothing he's done is about efficiency — it's about dismantling vital government services that benefit everyone to rig the system for billionaires like himself and Musk.

The most frightening part of this opinion piece about trump ignoring the courts in @huffpost.com is this:

"And — here is the truly terrifying part — he is getting away with it. No one is getting fined. No one is going to jail. In fact, much of America doesn’t even realize it’s happening."
However Scared You Are, You Are Not Scared Enough
Back during the campaign, Trump pretended his “Dictator on Day 1” talk was just a joke. One hundred days in, it’s clear he was not joking.

Friendly reminder. In the United States, criminals are entitled to due process. Even if you pay hush money rig an election, steal top secret documents, or incite a mob to overthrow the government; no matter how egregious your crimes, you’re entitled to due process.
