Nobody talks about this but if you're an Asian woman with long black hair you will sometimes scare the shit out of yourself when you look in the bathroom mirror in the dark. Especially if you're in a Japanese hotel wearing the provided traditional lounge clothes and the sink has lighting from below

2025 has been an absolutely insane year for me, and now in December I've just arrived in Sapporo, Japan and.....I've had to go to the emergency hospital for a completely random corneal ulcer (I don't wear contacts...) and a 7.2 magnitude earthquake hit while I was eating dinner 😃👍
