Think about how much the press obsessed over Barack Obama’s “relationship” with former Weatherman Bill Ayers, a relationship that consisted of their serving on the same nonprofit board of directors for three years.
It's remarkable that the number of news analyses/pundit takes that the Democrats are too extreme--out of touch, too focused on divisive cultural issues, too beholden to progressive orthodoxy--far exceeds the articles on the Trump/GOP's connections to the far right. www.nytimes.com/2025/11/16/u...

One of the strategies of the supine Republican Party is to close their eyes to the insanity of their Mad King; think of the Epstein Files as a lever to open the eyes of Senator David McCormick who won his seat by less than a 1% in Pennsylvania.

New in PN: Why Trump can't make the Epstein scandal go away

"He's pursuing a contradictory strategy: On one hand, implicitly arguing that his connections to Epstein are no big deal since lots of people are connected to Epstein, and on the other hand, engaging in what looks a lot like a cover-up."

The only reason the house was voting was because he refused.

This is an obviously cynical ploy and major news outlets are running whole pieces without pointing this out. He could release them tonight.
If he has nothing to hide he doesn’t need a House vote. He can just release everything.
