I accidentally stumbled upon walkable neighborhoods about 25yrs ago when I moved from Orange County, CA to Los Angeles, CA. Now no matter where I live, I have to live in an area where the Walkscore is 80 and higher. Otherwise I become incredibly annoyed and annoying

Orlick, California a town with a population 296 as of 2025 (328 in 2020) is the only place I’ve seen that has bike lanes with Kermit paint (driven thru there twice a couple years apart). Glad to see NIMBYS haven’t fought to remove the bike lanes 😂
