Okay so you know I like to remind everyone how the American immigration system has been cruel for a very long time. But loading people on flights to deport them to countries that they are not from, like Iranians to Panama, is not business as usual.

Estimates are around 400 people gathered at St. Vartan Park calling on NYU Langone to stand with trans patients after the hospital preemptively canceled appointments for trans kids seeking gender-affirming care — cancelations Trump praised, but which are dubiously legal.
at a very packed-seeming (like can’t move in the crowd packed) rally for trans kids because NYU-Langone is still apparently complying with Trump’s exec order trying to ban gender-affirming care. it’s also very quiet, sound wise. that’s my scene report til I get good photos. details/organizers:
