Love when it's Xmas morning and your neighbors (whose house is only like 6 ft from yours) blast music so loud you can hear it thru your whole house so now you have to go be the asshole on Xmas and you're very apologetic and they say they'll turn the music down and they do. For like 10 minutes.

I finished Sunrise on the Reaping today which marks the end of my foray back into the Hunger Games universe
Tbh I found most of SotR a bit lackluster, but the last chapter and the epilogue were fucking EVIL (highly complementary)

You know it was probs that the book had a LOT of negative buzz when it first came out, which was why I initially decided to avoid it. It was negativity that in hindsight the fandom seems to agree was not super fair, as the book wasn't trying to woobify President Snow AT ALL
Idk why I got it into my head that I wouldn't like The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. I've blown thru 150 pages in one sitting lmao
