This was entirely about purging a trans instructor from the school and they succeeded. It was aided by a lot of dumb liberals taking it at face value arguing the minutia of grading rubrics while ignoring the obvious bad faith efforts behind this.

Something that's been bothering me lately is the way it seems to have become the accepted viewpoint that gay people "basically aren't oppressed anymore" (at least in the West) when the very idea of being gay is still treated as inherently weird and comical compared to heterosexuality

I don't think the fight to define "indie game" is one that can really be won. It was already basically a lost cause years ago, but The Game Awards has effectively cemented the idea that "indie studio" = "dozens of developers w/ 8-figure budget" by now. I think it's time to start saying "underground"

The youth aren't going back, imho. Shame on the Democrats, in particular, who voted for the cruel cruel bill. You voted to make lives harder for young people and their families who love them.
I didn't manage to write the newsletter yesterday, but I have a strong idea I'm working on this morning - fleshing out the thought that the trans rights movement's greatest strength in the face of a sudden, cruel backlash is the large cohort of people who transitioned between 2010 and 2020.
