Regardless of the merits of the ideas, it's just so shoddily implemented and run.

I'd be sacked if I was this bad at distributing plans/proposals

Thing is, the Scots would be fully backing a ruby player that said that.. Comfortable in their delusion that it's happening.

The Welsh, on the other hand, are accusing the player of being out of his tree on drugs
@spacemanjonny.bsky.social you heard it here first. It’s happening 💪🏼
Young people experimenting with drugs is perfectly natural, but it is unprofessional of Daf Jenkins being out of his tree on acid, only a few days before an important test match.

Normally, the question "Who's going to score more points in their games this week, the Welsh football team or the Welsh rugby team?" Would be an easy question to answer.

Technological advances ironically meaning we're going back to pen and paper at some point
new paper by Sean Westwood:

With current technology, it is impossible to tell whether survey respondents are real or bots. Among other things, makes it easy for bad actors to manipulate outcomes. No good news here for the future of online-based survey research

Watching Band of Brothers (again) and spotting every British/Irish actor that would go on to be famous 10 years later.

I'd kind of assumed the balance had shifted against us but, still below 50%
Scotland's win% against selected teams under Gregor Townsend

91% v Italy (11 games)
80% v Australia (5)
67% v Fiji (6)
63% v England (8)
57% v Argentina (7)
50% v Japan (2)
44% v Wales (9)
38% v France (13)
0% v Ireland (11)
0% v New Zealand (3)
0% v South Africa (4)

40% overall vs the above teams

I think it's very telling that the Irish are gloating but the Welsh -despite the horrendous bitterness and downright meanness from the Scots towards us- have been largely sympathetic.

Really does demonstrate who the better country is imo.

On iplayer at the moment. Fights for A Matter of Life and Death for a spot in my top 5 films of all time. Not bad for a film that Churchill got banned from being shown until after the war - the documentary by Scorsese about it is also great.

Thoroughly recommend.

All things considered, I'd rather my team have lost 18 on the bounce
In the UK Millennials got Harry Potter and depression

Gen Z got the ability to dance with no social anxiety

Anyway, this is the England team after beating New Zealand
