You cannot fire so many people and shutter so many agencies and services and not expect things to start to go very bad very quickly.

Our job is to highlight not only the chaos and cruelty of the firings, but also the devastating consequences.

The public must turn on this madness and soon.

They should go through the list of guys who need one more NFL game appearance to qualify for health insurance or a pension, and let them suit up for the Browns today. Just like rotate all of them in for one series and get them onto the books.

Jeff Bezos never wanted this cartoon to become public.

He killed it, and as a result, pulitzer prize editorial cartoonist Ann Telnaes quit.

Make sure everyone sees this cartoon.

This! A big part of what is going on right now is an effort to get you to give up. The most meaningful step you can take right now—the first one towards preserving our freedom—is to refuse to do it. Don't give up.
I am going to stop picking on this person in a second but everyone please

For the love of God

Don't treat the death of democratic elections (however deeply imperfect) as a foregone conclusion.

THAT IS WHAT THE FASCISTS WANT
I mean, the Republicans have made it clear, telegraphing it through their accusations, that elections will be prevented from going against them. Acting differently is contra-factual, at this point.

But, even so, what's the use of giving our votes as cover to a (D) party working against us?

What worries me is that most Americans will simply ignore what is being done in Washington over the next couple of years. They'll turn on the football game, watch an episode of the Real Housewives of Someplace, and ignore it as fundamental freedoms and crucial institutions are carved away.
