I remain convinced that the election basically came down to the perception that everything "felt better" before the pandemic, and the average voter was too ignorant and incurious to consider why they remembered the Trump years more fondly than Biden's.

I can’t tell you how glad I am to be released from the disgrace of Temu ACIP.

I made a commitment to watch and comment on these proceedings. Not sure I’ll do it again.

In summary, ACIP is no longer a legitimate scientific body.

Every U.S. state needs to decouple their vaccine policy from ACIP.

It is exquisitely painful to say all of this. But given that the Republican Congress has no desire to stop the spread of vaccine disinformation coming from the U.S. government, and in many cases are aiding and abetting it, this will not stop until there is a massive and catastrophic outbreak.
