New: parking reservations required on weekends for Creekside P2.

Hopefully this will inspire bus operators to offer additional service from MetroVan - including pick-ups at say Park Royal, or CapU - some locations on the way other than downtown.

Speed Cameras: Cash Grab?

This. 1000 times.
Our city will have exactly as much gridlock as it makes room for.
Morning rush-hour near London's Oval station. Trains pass underground every few minutes and there's a continuous flood of bicycles, but still there's one lane of gridlocked traffic. Your city will always have exactly as much gridlock as it makes room for.

It's finally possible to glimpse the idea of a great interconnected transit network for a great region like the Bay Area.

But it will only happen if we gently push back every time someone says "but what kind of people is this service for?"

"Everyone", we must say. It's for everyone. 20/20

Why are we always looking only for “non-bus alternatives” in urban transit?

It’s like looking for “non-boat alternatives” to the problem of water transportation.

Our available network is mostly roads. So let’s run more transit on roads.

Dear Vancouver politicians: This, please.
Some stats from 100 days in on congestion pricing:
- Complaints about car-honking are down 70%
- The Holland Tunnel has 65% fewer delays at rush hour; time to get thru it is down 48%
- 6 million fewer cars
- Half as many traffic-related injuries
- 1.5 million more visitors to BIDs year over year
How Well Is Congestion Pricing Doing? Very.
One hundred days in, honking is down; bus speeds are up.
