I got lucky and got the audiobook on Libby from the library on like 11/7/2024. I found it to be very grounding. The recommendations were practical and doable. When I start to spin out I go look at the graphic novel version I got.

It’s more than empathy, it’s arithmetic. One simply can’t afford to eat, pay rent; pay transportation costs - car insurance, gas, bus fare (if there even is a bus that takes you where you need to go when you need to go), pay utilities, & pay health insurance working a regular job. Forget kids/pets.
