This is not a college level essay. But, let's all remember having to write discussion essays in college to show we did the reading. That's what this is and those were always total BS written in 10 minutes.

Also, based on the grading rubrick she should have gotten a few points out of 25.

After extensive research, I've decided that oreos got it right the first time. They didn't need to make any additional flavors.

Does David Koechner have a good stand up set? Trying to decide if that’s worth a baby sitter.

It’s infuriating to me that my office is open today and the day after Christmas.

Saint Munditia, patron saint of spinsters, died circa 310 AD, beheaded by a hatchet. She was transferred from the Roman catacombs in 1675 and put on display in Munich, her bones encased in a bejeweled shroud, her hands clasping a glass container of dried blood.

Lots of people sharing this clip because it's funny and cathartic but I also genuinely believe it's important.

We have to win the narrative battle between "I live in a corrupt society and that's just how it is" and "I live in a corrupt society and we are going to defeat and humiliate these ghouls."
Good morning to Brazilian reporter Manuela Borges, who’s been waiting eleven years for this petty moment. ❤️ 🇧🇷

Veritext sends us (and charges us for) depo transcripts’ “smart summary” which I can only guess is AI. Technically depos in NM are public but I don’t like the transcript being fed in AI. Am I wrong?! Cc @f1whitney.coys.social

Lol a real life Friends English trifle situation
NEW: AI “recipe slop” is overrunning search and social. Food creators say Google’s AI Overviews and glossy fake food pics are drowning out real, tested recipes — collapsing traffic and setting home cooks up for disaster, especially this Thanksgiving.

Why would you ever lie to me, an attorney, who catches people in lies for a living.

The first Thanksgiving after leaving my first husband (2011) I invited myself to a Friendsgiving. I didn’t know I was supposed to bring something.

Then they all had instruments and broke out into song and spent *hours* singing songs I didn’t recognize.

Someone else was my ride and I was stuck.
On December 4, 2007, in the Usenet group “Friends of the Friendless,” someone wrote:
“Happy Friendsgiving Y’all!”

And that is the first recorded use of ‘Friendsgiving’ in print.

When I was a kid, a friend’s mom served us spaghetti. I always ate spaghetti by rolling it up with a fork, but her mom cut it up into smaller pieces.

I said “Why do you cut it like that?” What I meant was “Why do you cut it like that?” But what was heard was “you’re a freak.”

Nothing has changed.

I'm excited that we are able to get some kids toys for under their tree, but there's also something uncomfortable about how all this giving just pads the retail profits.
