#ChristmasCarol 1954 Christmas Carol with Fredric March was made for TV. So it is a truncated version, only about 50 minutes. Despite that, it's a good watch and his all the key points. It's not very faithful. But it is my favorite Fred (Ray Middleton) for his goading performance. 1/

I will never forgive the 2022 animated remake of Scrooge (the 1970 Christmas Carol musical with Albert Finney). It yields no redeeming qualities over the original. The worst is the song "Happiness", which was done in a minor key in the original... But not in the remake. Why's it matter? 1/2

I don't get the GOP perspective on SNAP.
If the just looked at a tiny bit of data, they would realize that a great majority of SNAP recipients are Republican voters. So this does not look good from their base's perspective.
