I was convinced that a positronic brain was something introduced in Star Trek: The Next Generation since it was something that stood out in my mind as to what made Data and his brother Lore, so unique. I learned today that the concept of a positronic brain was originally introduced by Isaac Asimov.

2026 Writing Day 27: I was worried about Phoebe's part of this narrative. I wasn't sure where it was going to go or how it would affect the other parts of the story. Delved into her story and I'm excited in using older ideas from previous planning for this series. The setting is incredible, too.

I am trying to figure out a good title for a story about a society of corrupt wizards that use social heirarchy and birthright privalage to maintain control over a city. Something like, "The Wizard's Curse".

I am trying to figure out a good title for a story about a society of corrupt wizards that use social heirarchy and birthright privalage to maintain control over a city. Something like, "The Wizard's Curse".

I spent the morning digging out my car. An hour and a half escaping the parking area where I live, because they never plowed it. I had to park five blocks away because I was not fighting that battle again just to get back. Then walked those five blocks in 20 degree weather carrying groceries. So...

Did I just make a reference to the quote on this card? Yes. Yes, I did. Will anyone ever know that's why Zyanya tells Zeta that when they first met, she "felt a little warm and fuzzy inside" is becuase of this Magic: The Gathering card? Probably not. Unless they love this card as much as me. 😂

2026 Writing Day 26: Finished the scene where Hannah and Neri are reunited with Darren. Emotional farewell to their parents. I know a scene is going great with Zeta and Zyanya when it's flooding out of me, my fingers flying across the keyboard to keep up. Suddenly the puzzle is coming together.

2026 Writing Day 26: Finished the scene where Hannah and Neri are reunited with Darren. Emotional farewell to their parents. I know a scene is going great with Zeta and Zyanya when it's flooding out of me, my fingers flying across the keyboard to keep up. Suddenly the puzzle is coming together.
