The goal of this is to make their targets uncomfortable in all public spaces. Instead we should make it clear that they are labeling THEMSELVES as worthy of contempt and shunning.
As long as it is socially acceptable to wear a t-shirt like this to an elementary school event, with not only this type of language, but also a political message that openly displays hostility towards – and aggressively asserts dominance over – fellow citizens, democracy will not be sustainable.
