I went to the theatre last night and saw a play about the Mitford Sisters ('Party Girls' by Amy Rosenthal). Set across times and places - 1930s England & Germany, 1940s USA, and 1960s France.
The parallels between fascism then and the ideologies now were chilling and (rightly) uncomfortable.

I think murder-mystery dinner theater is unnecessary because I already enjoy dinner as it is, but if I was at the post office or something and one of the employees popped out like "Omg Doug's dead and we need YOUR help to find out who did it!" I'd be like okay I'm 100% on board let's do this

Iranian singer Parastoo Ahmadil live-streamed a concert on Wednesday from Tehran - defying Iran's ban on women singing solo and the requirement to wear a hejab.

Her stream gained 1.4 million views.

She has now been arrested by Iranian authorities. Her lawyer does not know where she is being held.
